"They feel women at any age": Kate Winslet becomes the face of L'Oreal Paris

  • Posted 1 year ago

The L’Oreal Paris team of beauty ambassadors has been joined by Eva Longoria, Svetlana Hodchenkova and Barbara Palvin. The actress shared her impressions of the new title and spoke about her vision of beauty.

Kate Winslet, 45, is one of Hollywood’s most revered actresses. Her filmography is like a piggy bank of wonders, from the legendary Titanic to the sensational Avatar. The star seems to have been in the picture since her birth, but, in fact, Winslet started her career in her twenties– the same time when her first ideas about make-up were formed.

“When I was in my twenties, I used to wear make-up to be attractive to men,” the celebrity honestly admits in an interview with Refinery29.com.

Winslet believes that much has changed since then, both in her perception of the world and the industry as a whole: “We can say what we feel, express ourselves in completely different ways.

“Beauty should not be something elitist, unattainable.

As a L’Oreal Paris ambassador, Kate sees an important mission in helping women around the world learn to love themselves. “We now have a wider range of skincare products available to us than ever before,” she says. “These items play a huge role in building a sense of self-care.”
