Most of us now work from home and are glued to screens. Sometimes it can be quite difficult to switch from the workflow. Combined with stress, this can disrupt sleep patterns, which means a dull complexion, drier skin, and dark circles under the eyes will become your constant companions.

But there are some simple secrets to “wake up” your face.

1. Massage

First, take a minute or two to massage your skin with a soothing cleansing oil to stimulate circulation. Start at the jawline and massage along the lines of minimal stretch, moving up the face. Apply gentle circular motions around the eyes. This will help get rid of the swelling of the face and restore a fresh look.

2. Exfoliation

Then, apply a quick exfoliating mask to remove any superficial dead skin cells for a brighter, more even complexion. To prevent dehydration caused by central heating, apply the hyaluronic acid serum to slightly damp skin for instant radiance and firmness.

3. Concealer

To instantly brighten the under-eye area, use a corrector before the concealer to neutralize dark circles. If there is a dark blue/purple shade, choose a biscuit shade, and if it is rather brown or green, choose a peach shade.

For a more natural look, use a concealer that matches your skin tone, or if you like a bold look, use a concealer a shade lighter than your skin. The golden ratio is 2/3 of the corrector to 1/3 of the concealer.

4. Smooth skin

Choose a moisturizing foundation formula that reflects light and soothes signs of dry or dehydrated skin. You want a healthy, radiant complexion, so apply foundation first to the center of your face and then stretch to the edges of your face.

Use a foundation, get a refreshing effect thanks to the serum in the composition. The skin can still breathe and feel comfortable. Apply the cream with a sponge to instantly look radiant and natural skin.

5. Blush and light sculpting

Creamy blush is a great way to add brightness to your face. Apply them with your fingertips to the apples of your cheeks for an even shade. If you prefer a brighter color, use a brush and blend.

The powder will give the skin instant volume and radiance. Avoid a highlighter with a matte finish — you need to achieve a glowing effect from the inside. Using a fan brush, apply to cheekbones, bridge of the nose, and cupid’s arch.

You can also add a bit of highlighter to the inner corner of the eye to instantly look more alert and vibrant.

6. Lips

Choosing the right lipstick color can transform your look. The most important thing is to carefully choose a shade that matches your skin tone. If it’s cold, look for browns, pinks, and purples.

If warm, take a look at warm pinks, peaches, chocolate and bronzes. By the way, it will be great if lipstick and eye shadow overlap with each other.

7. Eyes

A well-defined lash line is a great way to make your eyes look more rested and your face younger in five minutes. You can use this method instead of eyeliner if, for example, you don’t want to look too bright during the day.

To do this, simply pull up the upper eyelid and draw a line with black or brown eyeliner or eye shadow, creating a fuller lash line and an open-eye effect.

Then apply a thick black mascara to the upper and lower lashes to add definition.

8. Mist

Finally, apply a thermal water spray to your face. It will help fix your makeup and give it a more natural look. Use it throughout the day to refresh your makeup and moisturize your skin a little.
