Ello is an interactive online beauty directory and a platform to share local service providers, reviews, events and jobs.<\/p>\n

In this time, we believe it is important to be open about data so the following will cover the data that we hold and what we do with it.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u201d, \u201cUs\u201d, \u201csite\u201d or \u201cEllo\u201d will be used to describe the Ello.ee website & platform.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cUsers\u201d will be used to describe a visitor of the website.\u00a0 (This can be account holders and non-account holders.)<\/p>\n

\u201cListings\u201d will be used to describe places, events, brands, offers, news posts.<\/p>\n

What personal data we collect and why we collect it<\/h2>\n

We collect data when you create an account with us.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This may include personal data, such as name, email address, personal account preferences; transactional data, such as history of purchase; and technical data such as cookie information.<\/p>\n

We collect this data to maintain user accounts on the web so that users can \u201cbookmark\u201d or store their favorite listing on the site and access unique content, such as special discounts and local deals, that account holders can access.<\/p>\n

Financial data<\/h2>\n

By creating an account a person has the right to create a listing. They have the option to advertise the listing, or add it to a premium account. The customer will be buying a promotional key or subscription when this occurs.<\/p>\n

Such sales or transfers go through an eCommerce network from third parties that completes the financial transactions on our behalf.\u00a0 We use WooCommerce for all our financial transactions, so when purchases are made, this information is encrypted,\u00a0Ello does not have access to financial details.<\/strong><\/p>\n

We cannot see credit card information on our back end.<\/p>\n

Comments<\/h2>\n

When account holders leave comments on listings our records retain their name, email address, IP address, time and date, and what listing was commented on.<\/p>\n

Contact forms<\/h2>\n

We receive a copy of the email when users use contact form on Ello to contact us or another page.<\/p>\n

We collect the user name, email and address so that for safety and security purposes we can guarantee quality service.<\/p>\n

If you leave a comment, we preserve the comment and its metadata forever. It is so that we can immediately identify and accept any follow-up comments, instead of keeping them in a queue of moderation.<\/p>\n

All users can view, edit, or delete their personal data at any time (except their username). Administrators of website can also see and edit the information. Such accounts are secured by a password which is determined by the user.<\/p>\n

Where we send your data<\/h2>\n

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.<\/p>\n

At this time, all comments and listings are reviewed by our staff.<\/p>\n

What data breach procedures we have in place<\/h2>\n

In the unlikely event that there should be a data breach, we must contact the appropriate authorities for the situation, depending on the type of information taken.\u00a0<\/p>\n

By default, we do not collect information other than name and email address, such as birthdays, or any other personally identifiable information.<\/p>\n

What third parties we receive data from<\/h2>\n

Currently Ello doesn\u2019t receive any data from any third party websites.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Personal data and account deletion<\/h2>\n

The user can terminate and eliminate his account and his data on the platform at any time. To do this, just notify Ello at any moment.<\/p>\n
